Today's Booking Through Thursday feature is all about book covers.
They say you can’t judge a book by its cover, but there’s no question that it can make a difference!

This is so true in my case, sadly. I say 'sadly' because there are countless books out there that may have a lame cover, but the inside stuff - the story - rocks out. I try not to choose books just by looking at the cover art, but I guess it's hard to ignore covers that look as amazing as these:

Wow, right? Can you possibly say no to these?  Sure, I read the synopses and decided these were worthy enough to be added to my to-read list, but their covers won more half the battle.

Though there isn't any book yet that I've read based on looks alone, I still prefer the prettier books more than the ones with dull covers. Covers do have an impact on my reading enjoyment to an extent. Seriously, what would you prefer?

PS: That dress the model's wearing in The Selection? I need that. It's gorgeous.

I have also been pulled in by the covers...but it's a combination of things for me, like I've written in MY BTT POST

Hi!
I checked out your Booking Through Thursday post, and I must say, those covers are eye-catching! You're right about reading the inside flap, and seeing what other people say about the book in question. I do that too. But gorgeous covers are really hard to resist in my case. :)

Covers are SO important, and yes, that blue fluffy dress is beautiful. If you find one like it, where will you wear it? Ha ha.

Nice cover selection.

Hi Terra!
Yep, I agree with what you said about covers.
Where will I wear that dress? Good question. I most definitely can't wear it to school or to the mall, right? Maybe I'll just strut around in it at home! LOL. As long as I'm wrapped in its fluffy glory, I'm satisfied!
Thanks for stopping by my blog! Have a great day!

Hi Tribute Books Mama!

Thanks! I saw your Booking Through Thursday post, and I must say, Philippa's novels have pretty attractive covers too. Covers are something the publisher should pay great attention to, because it's usually the books with the beautiful cover art that sell well, in my opinion.
Thanks for stopping by my blog! Enjoy your day. :)

I do love the Selection's dress, but I thought the sequel's cover and dress wasn't nearly as eye-catching.

Hi Erlessard!
Honestly, I agree with you. It must have something to do with the colour combination, but I didn't like the red dress as much as the one in The Selection.
Thanks for the feedback! Have a great day!

Love,
Erfa
